Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVC's)
AVC's are additional contributions that are made to supplement benefits from an occupational pension scheme.
They are used to fund 'additional years' or plan for early retirement. Free Standing Additional Voluntary Contributions (FSAVC's) FSAVC's are similar to AVC's, but rather than using the occupational scheme you are free to choose your own provider.
